Add lifecycle tracking to the asset management platform so IT and operations teams can proactively plan, budget, and act on device aging, refresh cycles, end-of-life (EOL), end-of-support (EOS), warranty expiration, and disposal.

Problems solved include being able to see where each device sits in its useful life, forecasting refresh capex, and overall financial planning.

Solution considerations:

Lifecycle metadata
-acq date, deploy date, useful life, planned replacement date, EOL, EOS, deprecation method and schedule, residual value, disposal date and method.

Lifecycle stages
-Planned, procured, deployed, active, aging, EOL, retired/disposed

Policies by asset class (every "x" years or x+n where "n" is exceeded tolerance and "x" is standard cycle)
-laptops every x years, network switches every x years, etc

Budget forecasting view/dashboard
-upcoming replacement costs by fiscal year, asset class, department, location, etc

Alerts/Notifications
-customizable notifications for refresh cycle/planned or forecasted costs

Deprecation tracking
-straight line/linear deprecation, custom or compound deprecation, deprecated devices -- include with reporting

Who benefits?
Asset Mgrs, IT, Finance, Compliance, C suite

Comparisons?
Asset Tiger, Snipe, ServiceNow
