Expand Jamf School & Apple School Manager Management Capabilities
Submitted
Since Manage1to1 already integrates with Jamf School and ASM, having these management actions available in one place would eliminate the need to constantly switch between multiple portals while working on devices. And when sending devices out to Apple Care they require us to Unassign the device management in ASM. And then if the device is replaced, we have to also trash the device in jamf before submitting a ticket for them to transfer the device license to the new device.
Some examples of actions that would be incredibly useful:
Jamf School:
Change assigned user
Change building/location
Rename device
Refresh/ sync device
Restart device
Clear passcode
Lock device
Enable/Disable Lost Mode
Return to Service
Move device to Trash (In Jamf School Only)
Apple School Manager:
View Automated Device Enrollment information
View assigned MDM server
Unassign device management
Reassign devices to another MDM server (if supported by Apple's API)
It would also be great if these actions included:
Role-based permissions
Confirmation prompts for destructive actions like return to service
Audit logging showing who performed the action and when
