Manage1to1 iPADOS App

We can use Manage on any device from the web browser. But it would be amazing to have an app to use as sometimes websites don't work the greatest from iPads. Plus if there was an app the barcode scanning from the camera would work better on top of making it easier to use manage when on the move through multiple classrooms or buildings.

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion, it's clear you're thinking about how to make Manage smoother for staff moving between classrooms and buildings, and we appreciate that.

We've made a deliberate choice to keep Manage as a single, fully responsive web app rather than a separate iPad app, and here's the reasoning:
- Camera scanning already works, no app required. On an iPad or phone, Manage shows a scan button that uses the device's camera to read asset tags and serials, right from the browser. It's the same camera-based scanning you'd expect from a native app, and it's already there in Rapid Check-In/Check-Out today. On the move between rooms, staff just tap and scan.
- Everything you can do in Manage on a computer, you can do from the iPad browser , there's nothing an iPad app would unlock that the web app doesn't already do.
- A separate app has to be maintained, resubmitted, and updated on every device (usually through your MDM), and it inevitably falls behind the web version. Keeping one responsive web app means every improvement reaches every device the moment we ship it, nothing to push or update on your end.

If there's a specific screen that isn't behaving well on your iPads, that's the more useful thing for us to hear, open a ticket & send us the page and we'll fix the responsiveness directly, which helps every device rather than just one platform.

Tip for an app-like feel: in Safari on the iPad, use Share → Add to Home Screen. You'll get a Manage icon that opens full-screen, one tap, just like an app, with none of the app-store install/update overhead.
