One thing we are moving towards is to have our media centers start using manage1to1 for loaners. But we need a way to add a temporary user for substitutes when they are subbing in the media center.
And having a temporary access also allows those subs to enter incidents and more. But we would need the ability to make sure they can only do certain things like check loaners in and out, input incidents, and other basic task without seeing everything.

The first part of your request I do believe we could add by means of an expiration date for temporary access that would turn off at the end of that time period. Do you believe this would work?
The latter part of your request could be accomplished by the use of a custom role, which is already possible.

Yes that would work having an option for Expiration date.
